The Concrete Industry Management National Steering Committee followed through with a customary, late-year dispatch: Mack Trucks and McNeilus Truck and Manufacturing will once again deliver a Granite-mounted Bridgemaster mixer for an annual auction benefitting undergraduate Middle Tennessee State University, California State University, Chico, New Jersey Institute of Technology, South Dakota State University and Texas State University Concrete Industry Management degree programs.
A Granite GRFR model running a Mack MP7 engine rated at 395 hp and 1,550 lb.-ft. torque, the vehicle will be among signature items for the 2023 CIM Auction, January 18 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Silent bidding, followed by live auctioneering is scheduled 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., in LVCC North Hall Room N262—one level up from World of Concrete exhibits (January 17-19).
“McNeilus is proud to provide continued support to the CIM program through this annual donation,” says McNeilus Mixers and London Machinery General Manager Scott Mattmiller. “This program is critical in developing future leaders of our industry by educating them on concrete technologies and other skills for a well-rounded education. McNeilus is committed to helping move the industry forward and we know the funds raised will help drive that innovation and advancement.”
“Like our products, the concrete industry is becoming more technologically advanced and complex,” adds Mack Trucks Construction Product Manager Tim Wrinkle. “We are honored to have a part in preparing the next generation of leaders for a rapidly changing future.” — www.concretedegree.com/auction
