Autocar completes construction chassis family with dump model

All-welded steel cab construction affords the DC-64D service life
durability and roll over protection.

Nearly two years after premiering the DC-64 series family with a mixer model at the NRMCA ConcreteWorks Conference, Autocar has added the DC-64D Dump. Assembled in Alabama and dubbed “Badass,” it joins the DC-64M and more recently introduced DC-64P, geared to concrete pumping.

“The DC-64D is expertly configured and pre-engineered for seamless body integration,” without requiring “significant structural modifications,” says Autocar President Eric Schwartz. The truck is built to be a relentless workhorse that keeps chugging along when the work gets tough, he adds, and reflects the company’s collaboration with suppliers who have 200-plus years of severe-duty vehicle engineering and manufacturing experience.

The premier DC-64D is outfitted with an RS Godwin SCS dump body and features Hardox steel construction for durability and weight optimization. Inaugural Cummins power options are the L9, X12 and ISX12N CNG, with the X15 engine on deck for 2022. — Autocar LLC, Birmingham, Ala., 833/857-0200; www.AutocarTruck.com/DC
