STONEfaçade precast concrete veneer joins a full CertainTeed roofing and siding product offering.

Saint-Gobain building products subsidiary CertainTeed LLC has commenced operations at its newest North American production site: An inaugural STONEfaçade plant in Quakertown, Pa. Anchored with metal fasteners, the precast concrete veneer system consists of 8-in. panels in 10-, 12- or 14-in. widths, painted by hand and shipped complete with 3/8-in. thick rainscreen insulation and moisture barrier.

“We’re excited to bring our new STONEfaçade products to more customers around the country, and proud to add another American factory to our manufacturing portfolio,” says CertainTeed Sidings Product Group Vice President and General Manager Joe Bondi. “Our STONEfaçade products allow siding contractors to offer more solutions to their clients, while ultimately saving installation time and costs without compromising on aesthetics. Our new plant in Quakertown will help customers capitalize on this innovative product and ride the wave of increased demand for stone siding.”

Compared to traditional stone cladding, STONEfaçade requires less time and fewer materials for wall preparation and installation. In addition to screw-in panel design, the system is entirely mortar-free and features one-piece, alternating corners for realistic appearance. STONEfaçade is offered in color palettes that can be coordinated with a variety of CertainTeed siding and roofing series.
