Company has added 22 models to its Steel City Trowels line with five premium blade material options: Carbon, Golden Stainless, Razor Stainless; Blue or Ultra Flex Blue Steel. The latter material yields very thin, 0.19-in. thick blades for superior flexibility—well suited to concrete overlay and self-leveling, micro topping applications when used with 16- to 20-in. trowel models.
Steel City Trowels feature precision ground blades; a lightweight, durable aluminum shank; and, an industry exclusive rivet system in which the shank is attached to the blade by two copper rivets. The series is part of a 200-unit offering of square or round end and short or long shank configurations. Trowels feature the company’s Comfort Wave or Camel Back Wood handles, both ergonomically designed for all day use.
Separately, the BonWay Division has nearly doubled its concrete slab and surface texture program with 60 new urethane mats. In addition to standard mat patterns, new offerings stemming from an asset acquisition involving South Carolina’s Specialty Concrete Products include specialty Animal Track, Leaf, Oceanic, Fossil, Letter and Number stamps. The division was formed to manufacture and market tools and materials specifically for the decorative concrete trade.
