ACI replaces Concrete Convention with Virtual Committee Days

To ensure their technical work proceeds on schedule despite cancellation of the American Concrete Institute spring convention, ACI committees will host nearly 300 online meetings over a March 28–April 2 schedule. Each meeting will follow the Central Daylight Time schedule that had been set for the broader Institute gathering near Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport. A full list of the virtual meetings is posted at www.ACIConvention.org.

“While we are saddened to have cancelled the Concrete Convention, we are pleased that so many committees remain eager to keep the critical work of the Institute moving forward,” says ACI Executive Vice President Ronald Burg, P.E. “Additionally, this virtual format provides the opportunity for greater meeting participation from students, guests, and other interested professionals in the industry who may not have been planning to attend the convention.”
