A disaster proclamation from Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker, driven by Covid-19 virus concerns and curtailing most public gatherings of 250 or more—coupled with widespread employer travel restrictions affecting some attendees—has compelled ACI’s cancellation of the Concrete Convention, scheduled March 29-April 2 near Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport.
