The NRMCA Workforce Development Committee is encouraging producer participation in one of its top annual deliverables: the Mixer Driver Recruitment & Retention Survey, open here through June 28. Members aim to eclipse a 2018 survey sampling of 183 producers representing an estimated 26 percent of the industry driver pool.
The 30-question survey can be completed in under 15 minutes, and explores such year-over-year metrics as driver pool growth or shrinkage; hiring and departure rates as a percentage of total driver payroll; and, percentage of producers hiring 18- to 21-year-old drivers or walking away from business due to driver availability.
