Aaron Schmidgall has transitioned from vice president of Operations at Mediapolis to president of CAM Products, Afintas’ newly created concrete accessory products division. He succeeds Jim Wright, a 30-year industry veteran and former owner and chief executive officer of (Concrete Accessory Manufacturing) CAM Sales, who will continue with the business as executive vice president. Schmidgall will set the strategy and vision for CAM, while overseeing day-to-day operations. A 25-year veteran of HawkeyePedershaab-BFS, he has held many leadership roles within the company, including chief financial officer and chief operating officer.

Also at CAM Products, Dave Strabala has been named vice president of Sales, following 13 years with HawkeyePedershaab-BFS, most recently leading the aftermarket sales team in Mediapolis. He will be responsible for managing global sales strategy and activities for the division.

Derek Von Cannon has been named vice president of Sales for the Afinitas Wetcast Division, which includes the newly combined New Hampton Metal Fab and Spillman Co. product lines. He will oversee the activities of the Wetcast Division sales team and develop strategies to extend the division’s reach and better serve customers. He joined Spillman in 2018 as national sales manager.

“We are extremely proud of the individuals who have been appointed to these leadership roles,” says Afinitas CEO Brad Schmidgall. “Their experience, energy and dedication to serving customers and fostering innovation will serve us well as we continue to build offerings that enrich the industry and provide opportunities for our employees.”
