New boom technology holds the potential to take the concrete pumping business to new levels, Schwing America contends. The Revolution boom on the S 36 X truck-mounted concrete pump offers what company engineers note are unmatched maneuverability and speed, with continuous 360-degree articulation of the tip section and 330-degrees of third section articulation. Hydraulic motors replace the last two cylinders of the four-section boom to provide the additional coverage.
“The 36 Revolution is the most innovative boom technology to come along in decades,” notes Schwing Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing Tom O’Malley. “The possibilities are truly unlimited. This will be the most requested pump in any fleet.”
The 36 X with Revolution boom provides 115 ft., 6 in. of reach. Compact X-style outriggers set-up with a 20-ft., 5-in. outrigger spread. A 730-degree slewing range (365-degree left and right) augments fast set-up and affords versatility to overcome jobsite obstacles. The standard 2025H-5 pump kit offers 178 yd./hour output and 23 strokes/minute. The Vector Control system provides wireless proportional joystick maneuvering of the boom, a critical feature as operators use the Revolution’s expanded articulation to place concrete in areas they have never reached before. — Schwing America, St. Paul, Minn.; 651/429-0999 www.schwing.com
