A new rail-served terminal with twin silos equips Charah Solutions to increase fly ash supplies for New England concrete producers. The Hopedale, Mass., operation affords customers easy access to nearby Interstates 495 and 90, along with direct routes to Rhode Island and New Hampshire.
“Relocation to a larger terminal in central Massachusetts will allow us to more than double our regional throughput and increase inventory, while ensuring a reliable supply of quality fly ash for concrete producers throughout the region,” says Charah Vice President of Byproduct Sales Scott Ziegler.
The Hopedale terminal is the latest investment in the company’s MultiSource materials network, which supplies Class F and C fly ash plus slag cement from nearly 40 locations across New England, the South and Midwest, plus Intermountain States and California.
