Loaded with construction footage, WeatherTech produced the 2018 Super Bowl ad in house, capping the spot with a timely message: “At WeatherTech, we built our new factory right here in America. Isn’t that the way it’s supposed to be?” |
Now posted on YouTube, the ad tracks the picking, bracing and anchoring of precast panels for the enclosure of a high-bay, 125,000-sq.-ft. manufacturing building—the sixth addition to a southwest suburban Chicago campus since the company aired its first Super Bowl message in 2014. ATMI Precast supplied the insulated panels from its nearby Aurora, Ill., headquarters plant.
“Our spot this year doesn’t have dogs, no models, no stunts, no jokes, we don’t even have voice over,” notes WeatherTech CEO David MacNeil in a company blog post. “We wanted the visual of another WeatherTech facility being built … to do the talking.”
