Speedy masonry saw integrates dust collection

Manufacturer presents the iQMS362 as durable, portable and built to tackle any jobsite. It is equipped with the model-specific 16.5-in. Q-Drive blade, capable of 5.5-in. deep cuts at full 24-in. lengths, and equal to masonry materials in a wide range of shapes, sizes, weights and densities—from soft, manufactured stone to granite or high strength pavers.

The iQMS362 operates free of a dust cloud, meeting the OSHA Silica Permissible Exposure Limit (PEL) of 50 micrograms of respirable crystalline silica per cubic meter of air (μg/m3), averaged over an eight-hour day. In addition to a 270-deg. dust reduction capacity and three-stage cyclonic filtration, the saw has a power management system allowing it to run on 120 volts and 20 amps, plus an Easy Transport System with high-flotation tires, integrated stand bearing powered lifting/lowering mechanism and caster wheel with 360-deg. rotation.

The iQMS362 is engineered to overcome common limitations of high-powered masonry saws, which operate on 220v of electricity. Running with a standard 120v and 20 amp source it eliminates the need for a 220v plug adapter or high-output generator. Integrated with soft start technology, the power management system controls ramp up without the spike. — iQ Power Tools, Moreno Valley, Calif., 888/274-7744; www.iQPowerTools.com
