Auto protection product manufacturer WeatherTech offered the 100 million-plus viewers of this year’s Super Bowl a quick sampling of precast concrete construction methods’ speed and efficiency in a 30-second spot with the timely message, “At WeatherTech, we built our new factory right here in America. Isn’t that the way it’s supposed to be?”

Aired during the second quarter, the ad tracks the picking, bracing and anchoring of precast panels for the enclosure of a high-bay, 125,000-sq.-ft. manufacturing building—the sixth addition to a southwest suburban Chicago campus since the company aired its first Super Bowl message in 2014. “Our spot this year doesn’t have dogs, no models, no stunts, no jokes, we don’t even have voice over,” notes WeatherTech CEO David MacNeil in a company blog post. “We wanted the visual of another WeatherTech facility being built … to do the talking.”
