Pavetech sets 2018 School for Advanced Segmental Paving schedule

With support from tool and handling equipment specialist Pave Tech, the School for Advanced Segmental Paving (SASP) in Franklin, Wis., seeks to fill a hardscape industry educational void. Students learn labor efficiencies and communication skills to share with other hardscape professionals. SASP offers instruction for various experience levels, specialty knowledge training, and seminars. Segmental paving industry standards are followed and the training is developed by experienced contractors. Two fundamentals courses are offered in the first quarter of 2018:

SASP courses are conducted at a 5,000-sq.-ft. facility, located near Milwaukee and dedicated to year round, hands-on hardscape training.
  • Foundation Skills for Pavers and Porcelain, February 19-21 and March 19-21
  • Foundation Skills for Segmental Retaining Walls, February 22-23 and March 22-23

SASP founders bill their program as the first and only hands-on paving school in the United States, providing “best practice” methodology in pavers, porcelain and wall construction areas of study. The curriculum was developed to include the most up to date course content in the paving business with continuing input and support from national and international industry leaders.
