Tindall crafts coastal Carolina aesthetic in durable precast

Tindall Corp. continues to reveal its diverse architectural finish capabilities. The Spartanburg, S.C.-based precast/prestressed producer recently teamed with Avetex Commercial Properties on the Shem Creek Mixed-Use project, netting an innovative Mt. Pleasant, S.C., development with durability equal to the coastal climate.

Advanced precast concrete production methods positioned Tindall Corp. to deliver an environmentally appropriate and visually attractive structure located in South Carolina’s low country.

“We create structures that withstand the test of time,” says Tindall President Greg Force. “The Shem Creek structure is a testament to our precast technology and its adaptability in all locations.”

The 105,000-sq.-ft. elevated precast structure exhibits textural diversity not seen in a typical office building, he adds. Wood grain, brick inlay and various architectural concrete finishes blend with the surroundings of a Charleston-neighboring community. The variety of materials allowed for a streamlined schedule and budget.
