Mack, McNeilus commit Granite-mounted Bridgemaster to CIM Auction

Mack Trucks Inc. and McNeilus Cos. are sustaining a generous custom by donating the 2017 Concrete Industry Management Auction centerpiece: An 11-yd. M80 Bridgemaster transit mixer mounted on a Granite Axle Forward GU713 model. Truck bidding will cap the 11th annual auction, staged January 18 in the Las Vegas Convention Center amid the 2017 World of Concrete.

“The truck chassis donated by Mack Trucks and the concrete mixer donated by McNeilus Co. will help ensure a successful CIM Auction,” says event chair Michael Philipps (Cemex). “We are very appreciative of the consistent support from these two industry leading manufacturers. It speaks volumes to their commitment to the concrete industry and the importance they place on the CIM program.”

“Mack is proud to once again work with McNeilus in support of the Concrete Industry Management program’s annual auction,” says Mack Construction Product Manager Tim Wrinkle.

“More than most, Mack and McNeilus understand the importance in supporting our customers and that is why we support CIM, which encourages and educates those interested in the concrete industry,” adds McNeilus Vice President, Concrete Mixers Tom Harris.

The mixer truck leads an auction pool of concrete plant and construction equipment or materials, business tools plus sports and entertainment travel packages. A full list of items is posted. The auction will take place on World of Concrete day two in the Las Vegas Convention Center North Hall Room N262. A silent auction will run 11 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.; live bidding begins at 1 p.m. Online bidding will be available on the website of auctioneer Ritchie Bros., www.rbauction.com. To participate in the electronic auction, bidders must register a week in advance. Those participating in the live auction can register on-site.
