A memorandum of understanding will see technology developer WheresMyConcrete program Mack Fleet Management Services options to improve ready mixed producers’ asset visibility and dispatch efficiency.
Washington, D.C.-based WheresMyConcrete provides mixer fleet dispatchers with real-time delivery data, boosting customer service and transparency while providing critical analytics aimed at operational improvements. Fleet Management Services connects proprietary data from Mack’s fully integrated telematics hardware with third-party solutions. The GuardDog Connect telematics solution is the Fleet Management enabling platform, and standard on Granite, Titan, TerraPro (concrete pump) and Pinnacle models.
GuardDog Connect monitors engine, transmission and aftertreatment systems in real time. Should an issue be detected, the technology provides an initial diagnosis, scheduling of repairs and confirmation that needed parts are in stock and ready to install—all while the truck is still on the job.
“We look forward to working with Mack and offering concrete producers the unique benefits our system delivers,” says WheresMyConcrete CEO Anthony Valente. “Through our combined technologies, we will help customers improve their decision-making processes and business performance.”
