The U.S. Chamber of Commerce has enlisted Portland Cement Association CEO Jim Toscas to join its Committee of 100, along with counterparts representing the American Fuel & Petrochemical Manufacturers, Generic Pharmaceutical Association, Internet Association and Toy Industry Association. “The opportunity to share ideas, good practices, and perspectives in regard to governance, operations and overall value delivery, as well as partake of the excellent information and educational content of this program, is of tremendous value,” notes Toscas.

Separately, PCA has named Holly Arthur vice president of Communications, charged with shaping messages and perspectives for such key areas as Government Affairs and Market Development. Prior to PCA, she held positions with the Association of American Railroads, Ogilvy Public Relations and the City of Chicago.

Dan Eckenrode has been named executive director of the Precast/Prestressed Concrete Institute Gulf South Region, serving the states of Alabama, Louisiana and Mississippi. Eckenrode has more than 13 years of experience in the precast industry, most recently as the director of Sales for Conewago Precast, a division of Conewago Enterprises Inc. in Hanover, Pa. He joined the prestressed hollow core producer from CS Davidson Engineering in York, Pa., where he was involved in civil and municipal projects.
