Liebherr USA Co. has promoted Ana Cabiedes-Uranga to the position of general manager, Marketing, responsible for leading and facilitating programs and strategy across the eight divisions under the recently designated Liebherr USA umbrella. She has 10-plus years’ marketing and management experience with the manufacturer, and has managed public relations and large-scale projects, including the ConExpo-Con/Agg exhibit. She most recently served as Liebherr Construction Equipment Marketing and Communications manager.

New York Stock Exchange Governance Services named Oshkosh Corp. Chairman Richard Donnelly the Non-Executive Chairman of the Year at NYSE’s Annual Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) Leadership Awards program last month in New York City. Donnelly has served as chairman since 2011 and on the Oshkosh board since 2001. “Dick is a great asset for our company [and] an accomplished leader with an unquestionable commitment to strong corporate governance,” says Oshkosh CEO Wilson Jones. “Oshkosh has benefited greatly from his service as we continually strive to create long term shareholder value.”

Merrick Murphy has been named president of the Alcoa Wheel and Transportation Products business, reporting to Tim Myers, who recently assumed the role of group president, Alcoa Transportation and Construction Solutions. Prior to the appointment, Murphy was vice president and general manager for Alcoa’s Commercial Vehicle Wheel business in the Asia Pacific and Americas regions, overseeing operations, sales, distribution and growth agendas. He will be based in Cleveland, Ohio, at AWTP headquarters.

Sika AG has named Yumi Kan as Building Systems & Industry head and Group Management member, succeeding Silvo Ponti, who is retiring after 30-plus years with the Sika Corp. parent company. Kan joined Sika Vietnam in 1992 and progressed to general manager, where she is credited with building one of the most successful Sika Group businesses. In 2011 she was promoted to area manager, responsible for Vietnam, Philippines, Laos, Cambodia, Thailand and Myanmar.

Tyman Plc, parent company of window and door component manufacturer AmesburyTruth, has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire The Bilco Co., a leading supplier of specialty access products for both residential and commercial markets. Terms of the agreement are effective this month, as Bilco becomes a wholly owned subsidiary.

Talbert Manufacturing, Rensselaer, Ind.-based manufacturer of specialized heavy-haul trailers and transportation equipment, has promoted Jim Hall to vice president of Operations and Jamie Myers to vice president of Purchasing.

“Jim and Jamie bring more than 40 years of experience in the manufacturing industry to these vice president roles. They’ll provide excellent leadership to ensure our customers continue to receive the best quality heavy-haul trailers,” says Troy Geisler, Talbert Manufacturing vice president of sales and marketing.
