Company bills Fuel Hubs as secure, environmentally friendly, transportable tanks that allow for fast, efficient refueling at production and work sites. Vessel is available in eight sizes with capacities ranging from 120 gal. to 2,650 gal. Along with features to suit the needs of each project, durable galvanized base frame and hatch plates equip the Fuel-Hub for rugged conditions. The tanks have 110 percent bunded capacity, ensuring compliance with environmental standards. They feature a removable inner tank and outer lid for maintenance, cleaning and quick bund area viewing.
Three letter box openings offer what product engineers note are convenience and neat hose and cable entry, plus extra security onsite as the tops can be left closed and locked while in use. Two hatch plates are positioned to ease vessel handling. The primary hatch plate doubles up as an access manway; the smaller secondary hatch plate is designed and positioned to fit the user’s desired onsite usage requirements. The outer top lid has a 6-degree pitch running down its center for rain and dust regress. It is fully removable to allow for full access to the bunded area, making the inner tank completely independent of the outer lid.
The Fuel Hub features bidirectional forklift pockets, internal baffles and four galvanized lifting hooks positioned to ensure balance for safe and easy handling. With galvanized hex corners, the tank is also space efficient, and can stack on site, inside of shipping containers and across truck beds two high when full, three high empty. All connections, ports, hoses, and nozzles are housed within the tank’s containment area. A full line of accessories includes flow meters, tank alarms, pumps, nozzles, hoses, reels and level gauges. — McCloskey International Ltd., Keene, Ontario, 705/295-4925; www.mccloskeyinternational.com
