The Fusion Hybrid-Process plant brings to ready mixed concrete production what CEI Enterprises characterizies as precision coarse-aggregate blending to curtail voids and enable mix designs of lower, more optimized cement dosages. A multi-bin blending unit at the plant’s core holds up to four grades of coarse aggregate in individual feeder bins. Each has its own conveyor to feed measured amounts of a certain aggregate onto a full-length collecting conveyor below.
The material blending method is long-established in asphalt production, where precise aggregate mixtures are critical. Fusion plants are available with multiple options, including additional bins to accommodate additional aggregate grades. CEI Enterprises will promote the Fusion Hybrid-Process model, along with TSC Twin Shaft Continuous Blending plant, TSB Mobile Batch Mixer and Ecoheat Direct-Contact Water Heater at World of Concrete. — CEI, Albuquerque, N.M., 800/545-4034; www.ceienterprises.com
