The Concrete Industry Management National Steering Committee is taking stock of material, equipment, sports/travel package and other donations for the 11th annual auction at the World of Concrete, Wednesday, February 3 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Silent bidding will run 11 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. in North Hall Room N263; live bidding follows at 1 p.m. in Room N262.

“Thanks to the tremendous response from the industry, we anticipate having the best CIM Auction ever,” says CIM Auction Chairman Mike Philipps (Cemex USA). “In addition to our signature concrete mixer truck donated by Mack Trucks, Inc. and McNeilus Companies, we have a variety of items targeted specifically for the concrete industry. A special donation this year is an antique truck mixer, which has been completely restored to mint condition.”

This year’s CIM Auction also offers sports and vacation packages including: The Masters; Rose Bowl and regular season college football games; NFL, NBA and NHL game tickets; NASCAR races; Kentucky Derby; plus, San Francisco, Los Angeles, San Antonio, Chicago, Cleveland, Dallas, Orlando, Nashville, Charlotte, New Orleans, New York and Las Vegas travel.

“The National Steering Committee is pleased by the overwhelming support of the concrete, cement and fly ash industry with their contributions to the CIM program,” says CIM Marketing Committee Chairman Brian Gallagher. “Concrete producers will have many opportunities to support the CIM program while simultaneously purchasing equipment and product for their day-to-day operations.”
