The next staging of the world’s largest trade fair, by space, and focal point of the global construction and mining equipment, and building material machinery business will see exhibits spread over 605,000 square meters—just under 7 million sq. ft.

bauma 2016 runs April 11-17 at the Messe Muenchen Exhibition Center in Munich. Recognizing space limitations at the complex, organizers have announced a new service for next year: Companies that are on the waiting list and have not yet been assigned space can be listed in the bauma show and online directories under their respective equipment/industry sector categories. They also have access to a special lounge, so they can make appointments and hold meetings during the six-day fair. In addition to lead management, they can also book other services such as electronic press compartments or advertising alternatives.

“Just like in 2013, we have been unable to satisfy all the requests for space or for increases in space,” says Messe Muenchen CEO Klaus Dittrich. “We want to give companies that we have been unable to accommodate in the past an opportunity to call the bauma community’s attention to themselves and their products and to make contacts during the fair.” — bauma Exhibition Group, [email protected]; +49 89 949 202 65; www.bauma.de
