A joint project of Link Manufacturing, Ltd., Link Suspensions of Canada, Rush Truck Centers, and Custom Vehicle Solutions (CVS) targets twin steer axle installations for Peterbilt 567s, the premier vehicle shown at World of Concrete 2015.
“[CVS brings] a long history of installation expertise, and their strategic location makes them ideally suited to support the OEM truck plants located in the southern U.S. and Mexico,” notes Link Senior Regional Sales Manager Joe Chadwell. “These key attributes will allow Link to serve our U.S. twin steer customers more efficiently.”
In addition to the factory-installed Cabmate, the Peterbilt 567 will be augmented with the installation of a Link 40K Spring over Walking Beam twin steer suspension, 46K Air Link tandem drive suspension, and two DuraLift self-steer lift axles. CVS will handle all installation at its Houston facility. The suspension systems make the chassis ideally suited for the toughest vocational applications; mixer, dump, and crane among them. — Link Manufacturing, 800/222-6283; www.linkmfg.com
