HawkeyePedershaab, a key global player in dry-cast pipe and manhole machinery, has forged an alliance with New Hampton Metal Fab aimed at co-developing wet-cast forming technologies and extending the latter company’s presence in international markets.

“HawkeyePedershaab has a large and experienced engineering staff that combined with our knowledge of wet-cast forming technology will result in innovative new products that we can present to the industry,” says New Hampton Metal Fab President Jamie Wegner.

“[Our] global strategy involves a focused push into the precast and wet-cast marketplace and the technological tie-up with the North American leader, New Hampton Metal Fab, will accelerate this initiative—providing their product line to our international customer base as well as us lending strength to their product development efforts,” adds HawkeyePedershaab CEO Vern Cameron.

The alliance unites two companies with deep Iowa and precast concrete plant equipment roots. Founded in 1915, HawkeyePedershaab has dual headquarters in Mediapolis, Iowa, and Denmark, and is a Kohlberg & Co. holding. New Hampton Metal Fab was founded in 1945 and is owned by the Wegner family.
