One of two U.S. Concrete platform businesses in the Lone Star State, Ingram Concrete LLC has acquired the ready mixed production assets of T&S Ventures LLC, based in Sweetwater, Texas. The deal was announced five weeks after Ingram Concrete closed on the assets of Young Ready-Mix Inc., a single-plant, Brady, Texas operator.

David Goodin, chief executive officer of Knife River Construction Materials parent MDU Resources, rang the NYSE Closing Bell on March 18 to commemorate the company’s 90th anniversary. Joining him were executives of the namesake energy and Knife River Construction businesses.

AGC and the proprietor of a new namespace recently created by ICANN, the controlling authority for the Internet, have announced a joint initiative to provide .build domain names focused on the construction industry. The .build name is one of several new top level domains launching in 2014 that provide an opportunity for companies to improve their web presence and internet marketing through addresses other than the generic .com.
