The Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s recently implemented Hazard Communication Standard requires concrete producers to transition existing Material Safety Data Sheets to a new 16-part Safety Data Sheet (SDS), change product labels and update staff training.
Cemex’s Tim Kauzlick and MMC Materials’ David Bosarge will join NRMCA Senior Vice President, Compliance & Operations Gary Mullings and Senior Director, Government Affairs Kevin Walgenbach for an August 27 webinar, 2–3 p.m. EST, to discuss the SDS format, revised hazardous chemical labeling and pictogram criteria, and new Hazardous Communication Plan staff training requirements. Registration for the webinar—free to NRMCA members, $250 for nonmembers—can be obtained here.
