As part of its online Concrete’s Role in Sustainable Development course, NRMCA will present live webinars August 5-8, noon–2 p.m. EST, addressing the U.S. Green Building Council’s LEED v4 rating system, scheduled for a November rollout. Online exercises and quizzes will bring the LEED v4 program to 10 hours of instruction.
The course suits concrete industry sales and marketing, technical and operations professionals with understanding of design concepts and guidelines used in LEED, the International Green Construction Code, and other relevant standards. It will feature a comprehensive study of LEED v4, including new Materials and Resources credits requiring Environmental Product Declarations, Responsible Sourcing and Health Product Declarations.
