Command Alkon has announced purchase of the Scout and Compass products from Ironwood, Ala.-based 323 Solutions, Inc., pioneers of mobile sales automation and mobile reporting tools for construction materials producers.
As part of the agreement, 323 Solutions staff behind the products’ development and deployment will join Command Alkon as the Scout Team. “Scout and Compass enable all concrete companies to better service their customers through mobile devices and give easy access to valuable information that is needed to run a ready mix business,” says Marc Bryant Tyson, president of Ready Mix USA, a longtime Command Alkon technology user.
“Both the products and the people further our goal to be the leading provider of mobile computing [technologies] that help customers by extending Dispatch, QC, Batching and other industry business processes,” adds Command Alkon President Phil Ramsey.
“The 323 team has been fortunate to work together in the building materials industry for over a decade,” affirms Scout Team Manager Keith Rickles, former president of 323 Solutions. “We are eager to join Command Alkon and are excited about having the guidance and support of a company with 37 years of experience serving the technology needs of the industry.”
