Evolving nine Regional Work Plan Meetings held annually across the country, NRMCA is adding an educational component to newly branded Regional ConcreteWorks events, geared to members and representatives of state affiliate groups, American Concrete Pavement Association and Portland Cement Association.
Kentucky Ready Mixed Concrete Association will host the first Regional ConcreteWorks, for the Lower Atlantic Region, May 13 at its Frankfort offices. The agenda will include sessions on the Architecture 2030 Challenge for Products, Building with Resilience in Construction, plus general discussion for participants to highlight critical issues impacting the concrete industry, and initiatives that provide resources and tools that may be useful to share with peers in other states. A $15 fee will cover lunch to be served during the 11:30 a.m.–3:30 p.m. gathering.
Registration or additional information on the Lower Atlantic Region ConcreteWorks can be obtained here. Information on the new meeting format, or future Regional ConcreteWorks schedule, can be obtained from NRMCA’s Nicole Maher, 240/485-1158, [email protected]; or, Jessica Walgenbach, 240/485-1152, [email protected].
