PCI has elected Tom Kelley, P.E., president of Gage Brothers Concrete Products, Inc. in Sioux Falls, S.D., as chairman for 2013.

“Besides being an innovator in both architectural and structural precast, Gage Brothers has been an active and supportive member of the Institute for many years,” said PCI President James G. Toscas, P.E. “We are fortunate to have an executive of Tom’s caliber serve in such an important leadership position. He has already been making an impact on PCI.”

Prior to becoming president in 2001, Kelley spent 30 years with Gage Brothers in various capacities. He has played an instrumental role in the company’s evolution through ongoing strategic planning, sales strategy, and product research. His extensive contributions to PCI include sitting on numerous committees and serving in a chair capacity for the Architectural Precast Concrete Services and Manual Committee and the Budget Planning and Review Team.

“I look forward to serving as PCI’s chairman in 2013,” said Kelley. “The Institute plays a large role in developing and promoting the body of knowledge for precast concrete. I appreciate the opportunity to further promote the Institute’s mission and to make a difference in the coming year.”
