NCMA and Masonry Veneer Manufacturers Association officials will meet this week with an eye to finalizing an agreement enabling MVMA producers to join NCMA as regular members. Discussions will dovetail the MVMA board meeting, scheduled in conjunction with the International Builders’ Show in Las Vegas.
During their annual convention in Indianapolis, held in tandem with the January 11–13 Icon Expo, NCMA directors approved formal invitation of manufactured stone veneer and associated companies to membership. While stone veneer production differs from concrete masonry building and paving units, markets and industry participants are common for NCMA and MVMA producers.
“I believe [we] provide the perfect venue for MVMA members to accomplish their collective market needs relative to developing standards and increasing awareness about the value of these products when properly installed,” says NCMA President Bob Thomas.
