A Mack Granite Axle Back model with 11-yd. McNeilus mixer will anchor equipment, material and service offerings at the eighth annual auction—February 6, Las Vegas Convention Center—to benefit four-year CIM degree programs at Arizona, California, New Jersey, Tennessee and Texas universities.

The Mack-mounted McNeilus “is the strong foundation we need to help ensure a successful CIM Auction at the 2013 World of Concrete. That these two industry-leading manufacturers have donated the truck and mixer speaks volumes of their commitment to the concrete industry and the importance they place on the CIM program,” says Auction Committee Chairman Michael Philipps (Cemex USA). “The 2013 CIM Auction now has the potential to be the best ever, as the overall response of donated items from both producers and suppliers to the concrete industry has been outstanding.”

Scheduled on 2013 World of Concrete – Day Two, the event will open with silent bidding 11 a.m.–1 p.m., immediately followed by live bidding in the LVCC North Hall Room N262. Participants in electronic auction bidding must register at the host site of Ritchie Bros., www.rbauction.com, by January 30. Live bidders can register for the auction on site. A full list of auction items—geared to concrete producers, contractors and industry practitioners—can be obtained at www.concretedegree.com/auction. Companies and individuals interested in donating equipment, materials or services to the auction pool can contact Michael Philipps, 713/722-2969, [email protected].
