As part of its “America Is At Stake” get out the vote campaign, NAM has posted an 80-second YouTube video to visualize federal government-rooted challenges manufacturers face—complete with business-themed sound bites from Presidents Barack Obama and Ronald Reagan.

The production opens with a backdrop of the Mike O’Callaghan–Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge construction site—where precast and cast-in-place concrete comprise a now completed structure linking Arizona and Nevada high above the Hoover Dam. A voiceover asks and observes: “Are government policies helping the economy or are they making things worse? The United States is the world’s largest manufacturing economy…but our own policies are threatening that leadership position.” Viewers are directed to NAM’s comprehensive election resource center for political analysis, congressional profiles, and election toolkits, encouraging them to make sure their voice is heard on November 6th.
