Techo-Bloc has acquired a Douglassville, Pa., plant to expand capacity and distribution of concrete landscape products in the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast markets.
“We will continue to seek acquisition opportunities in the U.S. and Canada, with the objective of providing [our] superior line of landscape products within a greater geographic area,” says Techo-Bloc President Charles Ciccarello.
The Douglassville facility was formerly owned by Rinox LLC, which maintains a flagship concrete paver operation in Quebec. Techo-Bloc plans to add staff to the existing crew it has maintained at the plant. Douglassville joins a two-machine line Techo-Bloc runs in Pen Argyl, Pa.; Techo-Bloc New England, North Brookfield, Mass.; plus Techo-Bloc Ottawa and the company’s headquarters plant outside Montreal.
