During the annual MVMA Winter Meeting, held in conjunction with the 2012 International Builders’ Show in Orlando, Fla., Environmental StoneWorks was announced a winner in the third annual MVMA Design Awards Contest.

Environmental StoneWorks was awarded Silver in the New Construction–Residential–Interior category for the use of Osceola Prairie Stone in the gallery/dining area of The New American Home 2012 (TNAH). The company created and manufactured the stone veneer in its Atlanta, Ga., facility specifically for the project; the veneer was installed by Environment StoneWorks’ local craftsmen.

Attendees of the Builders’ Show were able to tour TNAH 2012, which was located in Winter Park, Fla., and see first-hand the Osceola Prairie Stone and its various uses into the home’s design. Not only was the stone used for interior walls, but it also was showcased in an exterior stone façade, and was used on the outdoor built-in BBQ and kitchenette as well as the surrounding 6-in. perimeter wall.
