More than 130 concrete and cement producers, contractors and allied groups, plus plant and construction equipment suppliers, have donated to the seventh annual auction—January 25, World of Concrete day two—benefiting Concrete Industry Management degree programs at five colleges and universities.

In addition to the anchor item, a Mack Granite-mounted 12-yd. McNeilus mixer, the pool includes 80 truckloads of cement or fly ash from mills or terminals across the industry and 20-plus ticket packages to marquee NFL, NCAA, NHL, NBA and MBL sports events. “We have a variety of equipment, materials, software packages, safety equipment and tools available. And concrete contractors should be excited about the number of items we have for them.” adds CIM Auction Chairman Eugene Martineau, noting how this year’s auction is promising to net record proceeds.

The event is scheduled Wednesday, January 25, in Las Vegas Convention Center North Hall Room N262. A silent auction runs 11 a.m.–1 p.m., followed by live bidding. Auctioneer Ritchie Bros. has once again set up online bidding, although (required) pre-registration closes January 18. A full list of auction items can be found here.
