A thin, lightweight, wet cast veneer replicating the look of traditional dry cast, architectural split face block has joined Concrete Results’ exterior cladding portfolio. The company has closed on the assets and intellectual property of Cebu Stone Inc., Wabash, Ind., and will relocate mold-making and related equipment to a new regional operation in Clarksville, Tenn.
Concrete Results will initially license the product to U.S. and Canadian wet cast and stone veneer operators, and plans to extend Cebu Stone in a dry cast version for conventional block and big board paving stone machines. “The addition of Cebu Stone perfectly complements our [May 2010] purchase of Castia Stone,” says Concrete Results President Mark Muratore. “Cebu Stone is solidly positioned within the commercial, retail, and government remodeling market, while Castia Stone addresses the needs of the residential community.”
The Accu-Tab-Set design ensures Cebu Stone cladding is quickly and accurately installed, ideally by masonry, stucco, and stone veneer contractors, he adds, noting how national retailers and commercial building operators have used the product to retrofit existing facilities, in full cladding or wainscot conditions. — Ray Clark, [email protected]; www.cebustone.com
