After three years of recession, the construction industry enters 2011 marked with signals of stability, followed by recovery and prospective robust conditions toward mid-decade. The industry poised to emerge will be leaner and greener than ever, contends NPCA, sponsor of the 2011 Precast Show, January 25–29 in Charlotte, N.C.

The association will gauge with other industry observers how producers view the year ahead and which ones a) understand the nature of “the new normal” in precast production and market development and, b) are best positioned for success in the post-recession world. In the new economy, NPCA reports, business success hinges on producers capturing information needed to stay on the leading edge of the industry; to that end, The Precast Show features comprehensive education and technical training, plus a (January 27–29) trade show filled with experts offering equipment, supplies and services.

The event is sponsored by NPCA (www.precast.org) and American Concrete Pipe Association (www.concrete-pipe.org). Information on the full program and registration details can be obtained at www.theprecastshow.org.
