Agreements with The Netherlands-based Ortec have yielded Command Alkon a) exclusive rights to optimization tools for construction materials fleet routing and dispatching, delivery forecasting and workforce scheduling; and, b) ownership of Total Management Systems (TMS), a Western Europe-centered ready mixed and precast plant technology specialist.
From North American headquarters in Atlanta, Ortec will jointly develop with Command Alkon an optimization framework focusing especially on Commandoptimize, a new offering ready mixed producers use to monitor all cost structures and continuously match equipment and staffing with customer demand.
TMS, also based in The Netherlands, gives Command Alkon presence with Benelux region ready mixed and precast producers, adding to a France and U.K. foothold from the 2008 acquisition of Concrete Equipements. Ortec will continue to provide TMS facilities and management services, while Command Alkon invests in the brand’s product line and affords users access to Commandseries technology.
