Seeking nominations by November 12 for the Advisory Committee on Construction Safety and Health, OSHA calls for industry experts to advise the Secretary of Labor on standards and policy development. The agency, in support of the Department of Labor’s commitment to equal workplace opportunity, encourages nomination of women and individuals from diverse ethnic backgrounds. Eight vacancies in employee, employer, public and state safety and health agency representative groups will be filled from the nominee pool. Members typically serve two-year terms on the committee, which meets two to four times per year.
