The National Concrete Masonry Association’s updated SRW Design Seminar is based on the new Design Manual on Segmental Retaining Walls (3rd Edition). The latest seminar will introduce updated static and seismic methodology, material requirements and testing, Internal Compound Stability Analysis, and new design software. Scheduled dates and locations this year are Philadelphia, Sept. 23; Denver, Oct. 12; Atlanta, Oct. 26; and Herndon, Va., Nov. 4. Tuition of $349 [nonmembers] and $325 [members] includes a copy of the new Design Manual and seminar handouts.

Serving as seminar instructor is Mike Bernardi, P.E., the SRW Design Manual’s technical editor. He brings to his role 20-plus years’ experience in the design of geosynthetically reinforced retaining structures.
