Returning to New Orleans on September 15-17, Command Alkon’s annual customer conference will include new Integra Division and Global Solutions 3 tracks. Staged at the Hilton New Orleans Riverside, the event will offer on-site customer service labs, peer-to-peer forums and roundtable discussions, updates from industry leaders, plus leadership and workplace training. An industry-specific trade exhibit will provide networking opportunities with equipment manufacturers and service providers, as well as Command Alkon, Integra, JWS and Concrete Equipements staff.
New to this year’s agenda are daily visits to the local operations of Command Alkon technology users Lafarge North America (Commandseries and Commandbatch) and Wood Materials (Apex). Spanning 100-plus courses for managers, information technology professionals, and executives, 2010 Conference tracks will target Concrete Dispatch, Back Office, Bulk, Management, IT, Workplace, Spanish, Quality Control, and Concrete Plant Automation. The new Global Solutions 3 training is designed for overseas customers that currently use or would like to learn about Commandseries v3.
Attendees will have the opportunity to acquire credits toward a Certified Concrete Professional (CCPf) career track as part of the National Ready Mixed Concrete Association’s Seminars, Training, and Education Program (STEPS). The conference will offer ten designated STEPS classes, culminating in up to 18 credit hours applicable towards CCPf designation. The 120 course-work hours required for CCPf credentials span four major areas: business management; concrete technology; operations and production; and sales, marketing and promotion.
Prior to the main conference, Command Alkon will offer four full-day seminars September 14: Crystal Reports for Apex Users, Commandperformance Report Authoring, Commandseries Security and Administration, and Spectrum Operations and Plant Performance. Conference registration can be completed online, www.commandalkon.com, or by contacting Rene Fincher, 800/624-1872 ext. 1138; [email protected].
