The company highlights its trailer-mounted steam cleaners, reportedly used worldwide for removing oil and grease from heavy equipment; thawing and deicing machinery, pipes, valves, drains, and culverts; de-gassing tanks; and, cleaning and sterilizing equipment and facilities. Touted by product engineers as easy to operate, the mobile steam cleaner includes a generator and water tank for remote use where utility connections are not available.
The conservatively engineered units generate 2 or 4 gpm steam at 250 psi and 320_F, using 57 percent less water and producing 57 percent less runoff as compared to standard hot pressure washers, without splash back. In extremely cold locations, the unit can be started before leaving the shop to allow warm water circulation that prevents freeze-up en route.
All mobile steam cleaners come standard with an anti-freeze circulation package for easy winterization. In addition to operating the steam cleaner, the generator can supply remote power for lighting and tools. Moreover, the steam cleaners can reduce chemical usage, the manufacturer notes, as it provides reliable, trouble-free service for years. Sioux Corp. www.sioux.com
