According to a report presented during the Spring National Steering Committee meeting at Middle Tennessee State University on the status of a proposed advanced-degree Concrete Industry Management (CIM) program–to be implemented no earlier than 2012–the Executive MBA will include an 18-month, 36-hour curriculum over six semesters at 10-week intervals. Instruction will include a combination of on-site and web-based correspondence. Although the Graduate Management Admission Test will be waived for the Executive program, a prerequisite boot camp will be mandatory, including a one-week intensive-training session, five trips to MTSU, and one week at World of Concrete.

The Executive MBA program will be delivered by nine existing MBA faculty from MTSU. By way of preparation, participating instructors will intern with local and regional companies in the areas of accounting, finance, information systems, management, marketing and economics. CIM faculty will collaborate in development of three courses targeting Sustainability; Design/Build and Integrated Project Delivery; and Diagnosis, Troubleshooting and Rehabilitation.
