Springfield, Ill.-based Solomon Colors, Inc. has added spray-dried, free-flowing Granular Pigments to its ColorFlo products for concrete block and pavers. The pigments will run in all types of existing dispensing systems and controls; in new plant installations, producers will have many independent equipment sources suited for ColorFlo Granular dispensing. Adding Granular to our family of quality pigments offers more opportunities for producers to receive the consistency, customer service, and quick response delivery they’ve experienced with our other pigments, says CEO Richard Solomon.
Overseeing the Granular program is Rick DeMarchi, an Elementis veteran who Solomon Colors recently named national sales manager of Concrete Products. Joining him for Granular Pigments technical and sales support are five prior Elementis (post-Rockwood acquisition) colleagues. Offered in four colors, the new pigments are manufactured in the U.S. and available through Solomon’s Springfield, Ill., Rialto and Rancho Cucamonga, Calif., and Grand Prairie, Texas, facilities.
