Due to an overwhelming response, the entry deadline for the PCI Design Awards has been extended to Friday, June 18. No fee is required. Entries must be submitted electronically by the project’s architect or engineer of record.
Now in its 48th year, the awards program honors outstanding projects that exemplify the use of precast, prestressed concrete components to build aesthetically pleasing structures efficiently and cost effectively. Eligible for the competition is any structure in the U.S., Canada, or Mexico constructed within the last three years primarily with plant-produced precast, prestressed concrete; glass-fiber-reinforced concrete; and/or architectural precast.
The program’s two principal award categories are Buildings and Transportation Structures. Also included are three special award categories: Best Sustainable Design, Best All-Precast Structure, and the Harry H. Edwards Award for innovation.
