Renewable Solutions Distribution will set up a 20,000-sq.-ft. shop this summer in the Kansas City suburb of Lee’s Summit, aiming to promote solar-powered radiant heating systems embedded in tilt-up concrete walls, along with established clean energy solutions for commercial and residential customers. Partners in the new entity are commercial developer Meyer Cos., parent of tilt-up contractor Summit Concrete, and Pave Guard, whose Solar Link subsidiary sells panel, rooftop units, and solar energy tracking equipment. The tilt-up wall application extends radiant heating technology Pave Guard has developed for pavement ice and snow removal.
