Now in its 15th year, National Ready Mixed Concrete Association’s Commitment To Environmental Excellence Awards competition honors producers that have met Û and surpassed Û governmental compliance measures in demonstrating a commitment to environmental protection and sound operations management through plant and staff investment. Eligibility extends to any NRMCA member supplying ready mixed from a fixed plant in the U.S., its territories, or Canada. As individual facilities will be cited for awards, producers may choose to enter plants in any or all of three categories based on the operation’s previous-year production volume. Winners will be honored at NRMCA’s October 2010 ConcreteWorks Conference and Expo in Charlotte, N.C.
