Sakrete dry concrete mix brand, owned and managed by Charlotte, N.C.-based Oldcastle APG/Bonsal American, Inc., has entered into a licensing agreement with E-Z Mix, Inc., a producer of building materials serving home centers and independent retailers in southern California. Through the licensing agreement, E-Z Mix will produce Sakrete and related offerings, including masonry mixes, concrete and masonry repair products, sands and gravels, and asphalt maintenance products. E-Z Mix’s California bagging operations are located in Rialto and Sun Valley.
Noting that his company is also an affiliate of Angelus Block, a leading producer of concrete block in southern California for 60-plus years, E-Z Mix President Bill Frenzel affirms, The Sakrete brand provides us with the opportunity to support our distributors with an expanded line of high quality specialty products.
